This Saturday marks the one year anniversary of the terrifying EF-4 tornado that torn through Rochelle, IL.

The Hub City is planning a time of remembrance and celebration on the day.

According to the facebook page of the Ogle County Long Term Recovery Committee they will be having a a special event that's free and open to the public, at Rochelle Township High School, to help join the community in remembering the day as well as celebrating their strength in pulling together and moving forward.

 

 

There will also be a bounce house, face painting, a magician and other activities for kids put on by the Rochelle Park District's Imagination Station. These activities are free of charge as well.
