Funnel Clouds South of Rockford Captured on Video

Yikes, these are very scary looking tornado clouds.

Ed Freedlund has his camera handy when he spotted some very scary looking funnel clouds near I-80, south of Rockford, between LaSalle and Oglesby.

The National Weather Service predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through the late afternoon into the evening. The storms are moving northeast at 20 MPH. Half Inch hail and funnel clouds are possible.

As of now, there have been no watches or warnings issued for the Rockford area.
