Freeport’s Union Dairy Offering Sweet Deal on Opening Day

I'm about to say something shocking but true...I have never been to Union Dairy in Freeport, and trust me, I know I have been missing out.

My in-laws took my kids there last summer, and ever since then my girls have been begging to go back. Like seriously, every time we tell them we're going to get ice cream, they ask to go to Union Dairy by name. Not "the ice cream place we went to with Shoo Shoo and Grandpa Fred", or "the ice cream place by Pecatonica", but specifically Union Dairy.

My point in telling you all this is that my girls, (and now me too), will be VERY excited when I tell them today that Union Dairy is finally opening for the season this Sunday.
