The combined fortune of the top 100 wealthiest women in the U.S. was $154 Billion, and there are now 31 self-made women billionaires, 7 more than just one year ago.

Of the Top 15 Richest Self-Made Women in the U.S., 2 are from Wisconsin, 2 are from Illinois, and 1 is a resident of Michigan.

The owner of Little Caesars' Pizza is the 7th Richest Self-Made Woman in America and is from Michigan. Marian Ilitch has a net worth of 4.6 Billion.

Elizabeth Uihlein is the 5th Richest Self-Made Woman in America and is from Lake Forest, Illinois. She is the president of Uline, which is "North America's biggest distributor of shipping, packaging and industrial supplies," according to Forbes.

The 3rd Richest Self-Made Woman in the U.S. is Judy Faulkner who "founded medical-record software provider Epic Systems," according to Forbes. She has a net worth of $7.6 Billion and resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
