40-Year-Old Loves Park Man Dies After Shooting in Rockford

One of the men involved in an altercation at a Rockford restaurant on Sunday night has died, according to the Rockford PD.

A fight on Sunday night (6/16) at a Rockford restaurant turned into gunshots being fired in multiple locations, according to Rockford Police.

One of the victims in the shooting was 40-year-old Victor Ballesteros of Loves Park who self-transported to a Rockford area hospital, but despite all treatment efforts, Mr. Ballesteros died on 6/17/2024 at 10:43 p.m.
