Hey Alexa, play "Reunited And It Feels So Good".

Grab the tissues, you're going to need them for this story.

I've seen stories like this before and they never get any less heartwarming. Sometimes when a dog goes missing, miracles happen. Either the dog makes its way back home, or it's returned by someone from the area. But sometimes life really creates miracles and owners see their missing dog on TV or on adoption sites.

If a shelter finds a dog, and there's no chip and they can't find the owner, that dog will be put up for adoption. When one dog was featured on a local Wisconsin news station, the owners immediately recognized their missing pooch Payday.

Payday had been missing for TWO YEARS. So I'm sure the owners were in shock when they saw their dog on TV.

The reunion was nothing short of epic. Listen to how this reunion ended up happening, I think fate definitely stepped in. The humane society's Facebook post details -

Dwight normally turns off his TV every night, but must have left it on by accident – or perhaps thanks to fate. It only took one glance at the picture for Dwight to immediately recognize Payday, his long-lost pup who had gone missing nearly two years ago!
How special is that? So, let's all grab some tissues, and watch this video together. I think my favorite part of these reunions is how wiggly the dogs get.

Who's cutting onions? I'm not crying, you're crying!

This is a great reminder to microchip your pet. You never know what could happen.
