Damage from Wednesday's severe storms that ripped through Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin was widespread.

Between 5:45 - 7 pm on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued three simultaneous Severe Thunderstorm warnings for potions of the Stateline Area due to a number of severe storm cells that moved through. The photo above was taken at Rt 70 heading into Davis, IL.

The National Weather Service says we can expect another round of intense weather later tonight between 8-10 pm. Expect more:

  • isolated tornadoes
  • wind
  • large hail

WREX-TV also reports that there was damage in Winnebago. Five power lines were down at Hoisington Rd and one power line was down at Cunningham Road.
