The Cubs winning the World Series was not only great for sports fans, but was also great for one Rockford business.

WIFR TV talked about a local printing company named Guerilla Graffix. They have been in business since 2001 and have the distinction of being the home for Nike printing.

One of the dreams that Vice President of the company Daniel Smithline had was to print off World Series T-shirts for the Chicago Cubs. That came true last Wednesday.

"We've talked about this for years and years and years about this potentially being the merchandise legend and it's panning out to be that way"

While you were getting ready to watch one of the most important games in baseball history, everyone at Guerilla Graffix was already preparing for the epic victory. That morning, a client of Guerilla's decided to take a chance and wanted a set amount printed. It paid off.

The client according to the story was  Dick's Sporting Goods and everyone at midnight was able to see the finished product of this fine Rockford establishment.

The company has come a long way from printing t-shirts for bands. According to the "our story" on Guerilla Graffix website, if you have a Slipknot, Matchbox 20 or NSYNC shirt from a concert, chance are it came from right here in Rockford.

I am glad that I found out about this. Not only do they print t-shirts for different customers like Harley Davidson and Reebok, they also print for the St. Louis Cardinals. I know who to contact now for my swag for next year.
