Is it all over for the Chicago Cubs? After losing their first two games against division rival Milwaukee Brewers on the road, a lot of fans might already be bracing themselves for the worst.

After all, this is just a five-game series, and historically, teams that go down 0-2 almost never come back. In fact, nearly 90% of them are done for.

History Isn't on the Cubs' Side

Only ten teams in MLB history have managed to win a five-game divisional series after being down 0-2. A Painful Flashback for Cubs Fans

Ironically, the Cubs have been on the other side of this story before. In 1984, they sprinted to a 2-0 lead over the San Diego Padres in the National League Championship Series, only to lose the next three and watch the Padres move on to the World Series.

Is it likely to happen? No.
Is it baseball? Yes, so absolutely anything goes.
Every Cubs fan knows that sometimes that reason is enough to believe.
