
5 Illinois Teens Charged With ‘Mob Action’ For Shooting at People with Pellet Gun
Juveniles who were causing chaos on the streets of Rockford are now charged with mob action for firing pellet guns from their vehicle while driving around the city.

According to a press release from the Rockford Police Department, officers responded to multiple 911 calls regarding "carloads of individuals shooting gel pellet guns at citizens."
Rockford PD identified the vehicle around 5:10 am on Monday (5/27) in the 1400 block of Latham Street and attempted a traffic stop. Officers removed one adult and four juveniles from the car along with gel pellet guns and additional gel pellets.

The four juveniles were released to their parents following the arrest, but 18-year-old Joseph Holloway-Rockwell remains lodged in the Winnebago County Jail, according to the press release.
The Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office reviewed the case and the four juveniles will all be charged with mob action, while 18-year-old Holloway-Rockwell will be charged with mob action and resisting arrest.
