Freeport Teacher Under Investigation For Discipline Techniques
Parent of students Carl Sandburg Middle School in Freeport received a letter the superintendent in regards to an ongoing investigation involving a teacher's disciplinary techniques.
In the letter, sent to WIFR.com, two 6th graders "reported their concerns" of a teacher's disciplinary techniques.
A Freeport School District spokesman has confirmed that a teacher has been removed from Carl Sandburg Middle School due to an investigation into that teacher's "discipline techniques.
The letter states district officials are\ cooperating with the families involved and police.
