Big Juicy Wisconsin Joint Named One of America’s Best Steakhouses
This steak house is as casual as it is delicious. Not one pretentious thing about this place. Great steaks, good price, that's it.
Best Steakhouse in Wisconsin
It's impossible to say which is best, but I can tell you that for me, it's usually easier to tell someone a steakhouse that wouldn't make the list.
I love a very pricey, bougie steakhouse just as much as anybody with an extra $300-400 in their pocket, but I'm hungry for a great steak a lot more often than I have that kind of extra money in my pocket.
This is not to say anything bad about a very expensive steakhouse, I've been to several and they were out-of-this-world good. But consistently, the only thing I've ever been able to say that sets many of them apart from a place like the Wisconsin steakhouse you came here to read about, is that we're usually wearing fancier clothes and many of the customers were driving more expensive cars.
Have you ever noticed how the more expensive places serve smaller portions, also?
I can't speak about your experiences but when I head out for a great steak, I like to be wearing casual and comfortable clothes since it's likely we'll be eating more food and there's no need for my (formerly loose-fitting) $300 outfit to become uncomfortable, or with some stain from my inability to get the fork from my plate to my mouth without some sort of spill.
The Best Steakhouse in Every State
The carnivores at mased.com were on a big, meaty mission to find fifty great steak houses you need to try and I'm totally on board with Wisconsins' best steak house.
Keeping with a simple great steak theme without all the extra bougie-ness, the best joint in Wisconsin is,
For just over a decade, the steakhouse located at 6024 W Blue Mound Road in Milwaukee has been serving amazing food, including fantastic steaks at a very reasonable price.
Since this IS Wisconsin, my home state, you can't have a steak without also having an old-fashioned to sip on, or maybe two, they're 2-for-1 on Thursday nights at Milwaukee Steakhouse.
I could share some great photos the restaurant spent time setting up but I'd rather show you the photos that matter most to me, those are photos that were taken by someone whose mouth just hit the floor when the food arrived at their table.
Look at this giant slice of prime rib. YES PLEASE!
This was clearly a very happy birthday.
Now this group is set up. Look at the Milwaukee Steakhouse feast that just hit that table in the Instagram video.
Milwaukee Steakhouse is creating even more joy (and GREAT reviews). The joint scores 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp.
