Savannah Bananas Reveal Chicago Dates and Wild New Notre Dame Experience

The Banana Ball crew just announced a couple of exciting stops that have this Illinois Banana fan wondering how we're going to score tickets.

Savannah Bananas Obsession

This summer, my two daughters, ages 12 and 10, became massive Savannah Banana fans. My ten-year-old plays softball, so her fandom makes sense. My 12-year-old though? She loves the Bananas for one major reason (and I don't blame her a bit):

Typically, watching a baseball game on television is not one of my favorite things to do, but when the Bananas are on TV, I make an exception. We really want to see the Savannah Bananas play in person, and I have my fingers crossed that we get the chance to do that next summer!

Huge Announcements About Banana Ball's 2027 Season

On October 15, Banana Ball dropped not one, not, two, not three, but TEN huge announcements about the 2027 Banana Ball season, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one I'm most excited about.

Yes, Welcoming the Bananas back to Chicago on July 10 and 11 is awesome, but bringing them to Soldier Field? That's incredible!

As exciting as the Soldier Field announcement is, there's another 2027 Banana Ball stop that has my attention for a very different reason.

Besides being Banana fans, my family, especially my husband, are also big Notre Dame football fans, so getting to see the debut of Banana Ball 360 at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26 would be beyond incredible.

Just so we're clear on what Banana Ball 360 is, instead of using one baseball diamond, the game will feature two fields set up inside the football stadium, and gameplay will alternate between the two diamonds. Basically, it's double the fun!

The idea behind Banana Ball 360 is to bring the action closer to fans no matter where they're sitting, and I think it's a darn clever way to turn a massive football stadium into a completely different kind of sporting experience.

How to Get Tickets to See the Bananas at Soldier Field and Notre Dame

If you're hoping to snag tickets to either the Soldier Field games on July 10 and 11 or the Banana Ball 360 experience at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26, 2027, you have to visit the official Banana Ball website and get signed up for the ticket lottery.

I'll admit that the idea of signing up for the chance to buy tickets seems a bit ridiculous, but this is how Banana Ball makes sure fans, not scalpers, get tickets to the games first, and I can totally appreciate that.

Fans need to sign up for a separate lottery system for each game they want to go to, and the deadline for the Notre Dame event is October 31, 2026. Be sure to check the official schedule for specific instructions for each venue, because ticket procedures can vary by event.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have two daughters to tell about these announcements and some lotteries to enter.  Something tells me my girls will have some strong opinions about which game we should try to attend first!
