Both the Belvidere and Genoa Police Departments are looking for this man.

Officials are looking to identify this guy and vehicle. He allegedly robbed a bank in Belvidere today and is a suspect in three other robberies including a bank in Genoa.

Genoa police believe the man was driving a 1997 Buick LaSabre with possible front end damage.

WREX-TV reports that the downtown branch of Alpine Bank in Belvidere, at 600 S. State St. was robbed yesterday morning.

Police say the suspect entered the bank, told the teller to place money into a black bag then left.


Bank officials say the robbery suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash during the robbery. No employees or bystanders were injured, and police are receiving assistance from the FBI while investigating the scene.
