Closing Day for Smokin' Coop BBQ Pit in Belvidere
So far this September, Northern Illinois residents have been enjoying some very summer-like weather and it has been hard for some to accept that summer is officially over, but sadly, it is.
All our favorite summer spots have already, or will be closing for the season soon, including Smokin' Coop BBQ Pit in Belvidere.
Let's just get to the bad news first; Smokin' Coop's final day of the 2024 season will be this Saturday, September 28.
It's no secret that we love Smokin' Coop BBQ Pit for all they do to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but first and foremost, we LOVE their food!
Sitting outside at a picnic table enjoying a pulled pork sandwich, some mac and cheese, and ice cream at Smokin' Coop is the perfect way to spend a beautiful summer night. Waiting for them to reopen in April so we can do it all again is going to feel like FOREVER, but...it doesn't have to.
