Young at Heart Parade and Fireworks Cancelled for 2020

Another day, another event cancellation announced due to COVID-19, but we should all have known this one was coming.

Now that the stay-at-home order has been extended in Illinois through May 31, a simple glance at the calendar will let you know any events planned for Memorial Day weekend in Illinois will most likely not be happening.  The City of Loves Park announced their cancellations on Tuesday...

and Pecatonica announced their Memorial Day Parade will not be happening this year either...

I know safety is upmost priority for everyone and everything these days, cancellations need to happen, but dang they sure are making me sad.

Please take this social-distancing thing seriously so can we all move past this and return to normal. I'm totally over you, COVID-19!!!
