It's safe to same the majority of Americans have moved on from the coronavirus pandemic. Whether vaccinated or unvaccinated fewer and few people are wearing face masks.

Personally, I wore my mask in every public situation that required them during the height of the pandemic. Masks didn't obstruct my breathing, didn't infringe on my rights, make life tough, or anything negative. If anything, I went from 2020 into early 2022 without getting a cold. I'm not a scientist or medical expert but I"m sure the mask-wearing prevented me from getting any sort of viral illness.

Another perk, if you will, was people avoiding conversation because of the mast. Let's not forget being able to silently mouth obscenities without offending anyone around us in stores.

Are people still wearing masks?

Yes, they are and there is no logical reason for anyone to think it's weird but, people are still judging mask-wearers. Just the last week I overheard a lady being very rude to a cashier wearing a mask.

I can't even hear you with that ridiculous thing on your face. - Rude woman

The thing is, I could hear the cashier just fine during this "stick your nose where it doesn't belong" moment and I was at least 6 feet from the two of them. It was rude and completely unnecessary. I wasn't wearing a mask so I didn't mouth anything inappropriate but that doesn't mean a few words weren't circulating in my mind.

LIFE HACK: Don't be like that woman, keep your thoughts to yourself.

An Illinois rest stop had a sign posted that is perfect for this situation; this anti-mask bullying flyer. But, shouldn't all adults be following this unwritten rule in society?

(Note: the sign was printed on 02/22/2022, well after mask mandates were lifted.)

So many adults take pride and feel good about bullying others, it's pathetic.
