Less than two years after opening a storefront in Downtown Rockford, TNT Funnel Cakes is closing for good this week.

For many people summer fun is never complete without going to numerous fairs and festivals to enjoy live music, carnival rides and FUNNEL CAKES! (FYI, I happen to be one of those people).  Now, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but just as fair season is wrapping up in the 815 area, our sweet tooth has to endure another bittersweet blow; TNT Funnel Cakes in Downtown Rockford is closing...permanently.

The one thing I loved more than the variety of flavor options offered at TNT Funnel Cakes was the fact that they were always there when my family needed to satisfy a funnel cake fix...now what are we supposed to do?!?

Since making them at home sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, I guess we'll just have to load up on TNT Funnel Cakes' sweet options while we still can. (Do you think I can freeze them?)

Where Is TNT Funnel Cakes Moving To?

After seeing the shocking announcement on Facebook, I saw many people asking TNT Funnel Cakes what their future plans are. Here's what they said;
