If you have kids in the house that love race cars, firetrucks, tractors or anything that's loud, moves fast or has flashing lights then you need to bring them out to the Fifth Annual Touch a Truck in Sterling.

The Optimist Club of Rock Falls is hosting the 5th Annual Touch a Truck. This is a free event for the community to come out and look, touch and learn about vehicles from local emergency services, race cars, farm equipment and more. Touch a Truck will be this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rock Falls Riverfront, located at 201 Avenue A.

According to WREX, the famous white sprinter van from "American Pickers" along with Co-Host Robbie Wolfe will be there to meet the visitors. As well as "Leslie" the Pink Heals firetruck. The Life Flight helicopter is expected to join the rest of the vehicles on display if no emergencies occur.

Food will be available for purchase, including Selmi's famous Sweet Corn. Also, a free gift will be given out the first 250 kids who stop by.
