Sugarland Is Returning to Rockford This October

If you were a country music fan in the 2000s, there is a very good chance Sugarland had a pretty permanent spot on your playlist.

When Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland announced they were taking an extended hiatus in 2012 I was bummed. I was thrilled to see them reunite for the Bigger album in 2017, but ever since then I have been left wanting more.

Thankfully, that "more" has finally come.

When I saw this post from Sugarland come up on my social media feed yesterday, I immediately knew something big was coming:

And this morning Sugarland finally delivered the answer many fans have been waiting for... a new tour!

Sugarland Returns to Rockford This October

Sugarland will bring the Ride or Die Tour to the BMO Center in downtown Rockford on Friday, October 23, 2026, and I already know there are going to be a LOT of people in the Stateline area who have some serious nostalgia attached to this concert.  The BMO Center is actually the last place I saw Sugarland play MANY moons ago, and I cannot wait to hear all my favorite songs live again!

Speaking of favorite songs, Sugarland's new tour is all about celebrating the 20th anniversary of their “Enjoy the Ride” album, which is incredibly exciting and shocking at the same time because HOW has it been 20 years since it was released?!

Tickets for Sugarland's tour stop in Rockford go on sale this Friday, August 14 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.

One word of advice? Don't wait on getting tickets, because I think this show will sell out quickly.

There are many of us who can't wait for the chance to pretend we're 20 years younger and can sing as well as Jennifer Nettles again!
