Six Things To Do To Kickoff Spring In Rockford
Spring is officially here and, although it's still a little chilly, here are six things to do over the next few weeks.
Check out the six things you need to do to kick off the Spring season. If I missed something let me know in a comment.

Check out an Icehogs game.
The Rockford Icehogs will not be making the AHL playoffs so get to a game before the 2016-2017 season end in just a few weeks.
- 2
Scoop The Poo.
If you're the pet owner that lets the dog(s) out to do their business and will "pick it up later" you probably have a yard full of poo. Since the snow is melted and the temps are tolerable you might as well get out and pick up the poo.

Head to Rockton For ice cream.
Mmmmm, Dairyhaus opens March 31st, which might as well be the kickoff to summer. We're hoping for great weather so waiting in line for that deliciousness will be enjoyable.

Garage Sales
Nothing shouts "Spring" like waking up early on a Saturday morning to go garage sailing... because one man's junk is another man's treasure.
- 5
See the butterflies.
There's nothing like a pretty butterfly landing on your shoulder, which is why you need to check out the butterflies inside Nicholas Conservatory.
