Parking Lot Altercation at Rockford Restaurant Ends in Shooting
A fight on Sunday night (6/16) at a Rockford restaurant turned into gunshots being fired in multiple locations, according to Rockford Police.
Just after 10 pm on Sunday, officers were dispatched after multiple reports of gunfire in the 3700 block of E. State Street, and around the same time another report of shots fired in the 3400 block of E. State Street.
According to the press release, officers were told about an apparent altercation that took place with "numerous subjects" in the parking lot of the San Jose Restaurant at 3725 E. State Street that resulted in gunfire.
Moments later, Rockford Police were notified by a local hospital that two adult male subjects arrived with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
At the time of the press release from the Rockford Police, both men were in critical condition from their injuries sustained in the shooting.
