Enhancing Community Trust and Accountability

Achieving ILEAP accreditation is more than a badge of honor; it signifies a commitment to professionalism and accountability within the police force.

As we continue to evolve in law enforcement, the accreditation process is essential for taking us to the next level. As a profession, we should consistently seek ways to improve and better serve our citizens. We should embrace the challenge of doing difficult things. As Lou Holtz said, ‘In this world, you're either growing or you're dying, so get in motion and grow.’-Rockford Police Chief, Carla Redd

Community Engagement Opportunity

To involve the public in the accreditation process, the Rockford Police Department will host a public information call-in session on October 31, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
