Good news if you plan to hit the greens when the weather warms up. The Rockford Park District has announced it will roll pack prices for 2016.The Rockford Register Star is reporting that golf courses part of the Rockford Park District will roll back fees to levels that have not been seen since 2008.

The price reductions will take place at Elliot, Ingersoll, Aldeen, Sandy Hollow and Sinnissippi golf courses.

Among the 2016 price reductions:

  • The senior discount returns (the discount ranges from $80 for the lowest season pass to $200 for the most pricey)
  • Removing the 3 p.m. time restriction for its Monday-Friday pass.
  • Free carts are now included and unlimited free use of the practice ranges on the most expensive golf pass.

The Rockford register Star says that

This is the first time Rockford has included carts or the ranges at Elliot and Aldeen in a season pass.

 

The Park District even dropped the $5 fee for pass holders to play Elliot on warm days during the November-March off season
