Rockford Area Gas Prices Continue To Drop

Make sure you get gas when you can. Prices are dropping, but that may not last for long. 

According to our news partner WTVO, gasbuddy.com is reporting that a gallon of gas is now averaging $1.99. The cheapest Rockford proper price was $1.84 at the Fas Stop located at 3429 N Main St. According to illinoisgasprices.com, it is all over the board when it comes to the price of gas. Some stations are selling it for $2.19.

According to the news report:

"Experts say there may be a brief pause in the price drop this week, but expect the downward trend to resume again."

So, if you are needing gas, today or tomorrow would be the best day to fill up.
