There are some amazing times of the year that aren't dictated by a standard calendar. Things like hockey season, award show season, but the best of all? Girl Scout Cookie season. It always comes out of nowhere but in the best way possible. All of a sudden you're walking into the store and you see their cute faces surrounded by little boxes of heaven.

So when are they starting sales this year and why are they kicking things off early? In a press release the Girl Scouts explained -

Girl Scouts will kick-off the 2019 Girl Scout Cookie Program earlier than usual this year with online sales beginning December 17! Digital Cookie 5.0 allows girls to take electronic orders for cookies. Customers have the ability to order and pay for cookies online and have the option to have the cookies shipped directly to them, have the Girl Scout deliver the cookies to them, or donate cookies. So, if customers would like to have Girl Scout Cookies for holiday gift-giving (or for themselves!), they should act as soon as possible!

They'll have all the classics like Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Savannah Smiles, S’mores, and Toffee-tastics. Cookies are on sale for $5 per box! Talk about Christmas coming early. Remember when your 2019 goal was to diet? Yeah... forget that, I'll take 10 boxes of Thin Mints instead.
