Sooner or later you're probably going to need a COVID test of some sort. When you need more than just a rapid home test, the options can seem daunting.

Health Conservation Inc (HCI), an industry leader in mobile COVID testing, has expanded its Rockford capacity for tests by adding an alternative testing site in the Forest Plaza at the corner of Mulford and State.

From their press release:

With the addition of this larger facility to our existing mobile locations, HCI can continue to do our part by providing quality COVID-19 testing that our patients can trust which is also fast, convenient and economical. The new site adds both testing capacity and added privacy for vaccination campaigns and qualitative antibody testing.

Yes, that's right the elusive antibody testing will be available at this new site, along with three other COVID tests:

  • Standard COVID-19 RT-PCR - Free
  • COVID-19 RT-PCR "STAT' - $59
  • COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test - $49

NO WALK-INS ALLOWED. All tests require only a quick self-administered nasal swab from the test subject.

If you would like to take advantage of one of these tests you need to register and make an appointment here.

HCI is running two of these sites, the one at Forest Plaza and another one in Elgin if for some reason that is more convenient.

Hours of operation are as follows:

6359 East State St. Rockford, IL (Forest Plaza) - Monday - Saturday 10A- 5P and Sunday from 10A-4P.

155 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL - Monday - Friday 10A-7P and Saturday- Sunday 10A-6P,

HCI also provides testing services to employers seeking to maintain the health and safety of their workforce. Their business service consists of three parts:

  1. Virtual or live training for designated staff
  2. Ongoing shipment of testing supplies to your facility
  3. Access to test results via a web portal.
