Macy's Set to Overhaul it's Coupon Policy

If you are planning on shopping at Macy's at Cherryvale Mall, there is a big change in store. No more coupons allowed on clearance items! Macy's has announced it will no longer accept coupons for clearance items.

WGN-TV is reporting that it is part of Macy's "way to shop.” According to Macy's, clearance item discounts will be reflected in the final price. You will not be able to apply coupons, because items are are already deeply discounted.

I don't know about you, but I always love adding up my purchases and then getting to the register and handing the clerk a coupon and watch the total on the register shrink.

You will will be able use coupons for full-price and sale items, but not clearance items.

This new policy will be instituted chain-wide.

For savvy thrifty shoppers like me, you can still use your 15%, 20% or 30% off coupons on clearance items at Kohl's.
