Saturday I found myself coming down to the odds and ends of my food supply. Yep it's the sign that it's time to go grocery shopping.

I had one ripe banana and with a few strawberries and blueberries leftover from the week. You know what those are great for? Making a yogurt smoothie. Here's what I did to make that delicious and filling smoothie for breakfast.

In a blender I poured in 1/4 of 1% Milk, 3/4 cup of Vanilla low-fat Yogurt.

I broke up the banana into chunks, tossed in the last handful of blueberries and the 5 sliced up strawberries I had left. I blended them up and Voila! The smoothie was done.

No sugar or honey needed to sweeten it. It was so tasty and refreshing and most of all filling. I didn't get hungry till around 12:30.

Try it yourself. A delicious summertime treat.
