
TV Legend Spotted Filming Wild New Movie in Tiny Illinois Town
You already know I love movies and TV, so when a celebrity is seen somewhere in Illinois, you should know I will be all over it.
Travolta in LaSalle, Hunnam Rescues Cats
For example, John Travolta stopped for lunch during a refuel in LaSalle not long ago, or just recently, Charlie Hunnam was filming a TV movie in The Land of Lincoln but made time to rescue some cats.
John Goodman Spotted in Illinois for New Movie
While it's been a minute since I've seen John Goodman in a movie, I'm well aware of his work in the iconic TV series Roseanne and the just-wrapped (and totally excellent) Righteous Gemstones. So it was awesome to hear that he was filming something besides TV in the state. Of course, Goodman wasn't spotted in Chicago, but he was in the tiny town of Paxton.

Where the Heck Is Paxton, Illinois?
If you were like, "Paxton? Where is that?" You're not alone. Paxton is about twenty minutes north of Champaign and forty to forty-five minutes east of Bloomington, so it's about right there, yeah, there.

Anyway, Goodman is filming a movie called Chili Finger, and according to IMDb:
A recently empty-nested mother discovers a human finger in her bowl of fast-food chili. When she blackmails the restaurant for a cash payout, the situation spirals out of control and her life descends into chaos.
A-List Cast Joins Goodman
Goodman appears to be co-starring alongside Sean Astin, Bryan Cranston, and Judy Greer. This cast looks like a knockout, and based on the synopsis, it sounds wild, which is my idea of a good time at the show.
Fans Catch Goodman on Set in Paxton
While Cranston and the rest of the stars of Chili Finger were nowhere to be found, Goodman was taking plenty of snaps with onlookers like this one:
There is no word as to how long Goodman and the production crew will be or if they are still in Paxton, but keep Chili Finger in mind. It's going to pop up somewhere soon, whether it be streaming or at the movies.
