The River Valley Animal Rescue team captured the sweet moment with a handful of pictures featuring the actor, mentioning that Hunnam "soaked up all the affection they had to give" and "was a great sport about letting them climb all over him."
The post mentions Hunnam also FaceTime'd his partner to show off a few of his favorites.
Charlie Meets Sugar Plum and Gingerbread
Two of his "favorites" happened to be sisters, Sugar Plum and Gingerbread, telling the staff at the rescue, "I think I would love to adopt."
The fairy tale continued with the story of Sugar Plum and Gingerbread, "unwanted and homeless" who flew off to a "life of luxury in Los Angeles."
Hunnam, who was in Momence filming scenes for the creepy and thrilling third season of Monster, was involved in a scene that "involved a large number of men, armed with rubber/plastic prop firearms." according to WCIA.
