Actors Needed For Belvidere Drill

This is not your ticket to Hollywood. But, your participation will be life saving.

According to the Rockford Register Star Online,  the Boone County Health Department is looking for actors to participate in a mock emergency dispensing drill. It will take place from 9-11 AM at Belvidere High School.

What they are looking to do is to see how fast they can dispense medicine to residents who were subjected to an intentional release of a biological chemical.

Why is this important for you? If the health department doesn't practice these kinds of drills, then in the case of an actually emergency, the response time could be critical. I would rather have them practice something that hopefully will never happen rather than not worry about it.
