Have You… Herd? This Week’s Pet of the Week is Zoey
Tuesday, March 23 was National Puppy Day and what better way to celebrate than adopting a cute dog? Every week we highlight a pet that is waiting for its forever home at Winnebago County Animal Services.
This week's Pet of the Week is 2-year-old Zoey, an Australian Cattle Dog.
Zoey is smart and eager to learn if you're ready to help her. She already understands commands like "sit", "shake", and "down", but she does need a little work on some manners, but I haven't quite found the person to help me.
Since I need a job to do to keep me busy, I'm a bit much for some humans to handle, but I know the right fit is out there. Don't get me wrong, I walk well on a harness. I might even try to curl up on your lap for some attention if you let me.
Zoey needs a specific type of home, a home that is a child-free home with someone who understands her breed means needs a special home willing to keep her stimulated and busy.
Zoey is absolutely gorgeous and waiting for her forever home. If you would like to meet her or have more questions Would you like to meet me? Visit our website and complete an adoption questionnaire at wcasrock.org.
