Two Illinois Restaurants Guy Fieri Can’t Get Enough Of

To me, it makes total sense and is absolutely natural. While reviewing the list, I found two restaurants in Illinois, and both should be on any foodie's favorite places to chow down.

Kuma’s Corner: One of Guy Fieri’s Top 5 Burgers Ever

The first Illinois restaurant is one of my top spots for a burger in the state, and Guy Fieri agrees with Kuma's Corner.

The host sampled the Black Sabbath – a juicy patty piled with beef chilli, pepper Jack cheese, red onion and spices. He went as far as saying it was in his top five burgers ever on the show – a big claim considering how many hundreds he’s tried.

Kuma's Corner is at 2900 West Belmont in Chicago and 1500 East Golf Road in Schaumburg.

Smoque BBQ: Still a Smoky Favorite Nearly 20 Years Later

While I've been to Kuma's Corner, this barbecue restaurant has been at the top of my "to-do" list for some time: Smoque BBQ.

Smoque BBQ featured on season two of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives back in 2007, and it quickly garnered a loyal following among barbecue devotees across the US. Almost two decades later, it’s still loved for its meat platters, brisket sandwiches and baby ribs.

Smoque BBQ is at 3800 North Pulaski in Chicago. If you could only choose one between Kuma's and Smoque, what would you pick?
