A Heavy Metal Twist on Classic Burgers

"Kuma's Corner is a renowned burger bar with locations in Illinois, celebrated for its bold, heavy metal-themed burgers. Each burger is named after a legendary metal band and features creative, hearty toppings," per OnlyInYourState.

They also said "Signature burgers include the Kuma, topped with applewood-smoked bacon, cheddar, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a pretzel bun, and the Plague Bringer, featuring deep-fried blackened chicken tenders, cheddar, bacon, Belgian waffle strips, maple syrup drizzle, and raspberry aioli. The restaurant also offers a rotating Burger of the Month, which becomes increasingly inventive and delicious."

National Recognition Keeps Rolling In

This isn't the first accolade for the much-loved burger joint. Kuma's was included in Yelp's Top 100 Burgers in 2024. I've been singing its praises as one of the best in Illinois since I stopped by for dinner a handful of years ago.
