We've all heard the expression "If These Walls Could Talk" but some stories are just better left unsaid.

That's true for the Crystal Lake home where 5-year-old Andrew "AJ" Freund was allegedly beaten to death by his parents.

Now a community in Crystal Lake is pushing to have that house demolished.

A special counsel for the town says they received a complaint from the community after an inspection of the home accord.

Upon their inspection they found the house to be uninhabitable after it was discovered to have mold, rodent infestation, along with other code violations.

Freund's parents Andrew Freund and Joann Cunningham were served with the complaint at the McHenry County Jail where they are currently being held on first-degree murder charges.

This case became a national story after the child first was reported missing by his parents and was then found in a shallow grave in a wooded area near the family home.
