Chicago’s Biggest Beer Fest This Weekend
This would be a perfect early Father's Day gift! If you want to take part in one of the biggest beer fest in Chicago, this weekend is your weekend!
This Friday and Saturday at the iconic Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park in Chicago, the Chicago Ale Fest takes place. There will be over 100 different brewers (not the ones from Milwaukee) and they will feature over 200 types of beer.
There is also live music, food from local eateries and of course did i mention BEER!
Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the gate. That includes admission to the festival, 20 tickets to sample 3 oz. beer and a glass you get to keep. They also recognize the designated driver. Those tickets are only $25 and you receive admission plus free soda and water. Some of the proceeds will benefit the Grant Park Conservancy
The festival will kick off Friday, June 17th at 6 PM and go till 10 PM. On Saturday, you can enjoy the suds between 2 and 6 PM.
With over 200 different beers to try, I would think it would be difficult to decide which one to try. There will be the mainstream craft beers, but I like to go off the beaten path and try something different.
What is your favorite type of beer? Find out here.
