What should you do when you can't come up with the perfect name for a dog? Ask ChatGPT for help!

Q Dog of the Day

Each weekday morning, we like to highlight one of the adorable pup pics people send us on Facebook just to help start your day with a smile, but too often we get snagged on one problem: a dog with no name.

Obviously, the dog in the pic has a name and a owner who is proud enough to send us their picture, but we can't post it if we don't have a name to go with it. Or can we?

To eliminate this issue, we decided to enlist ChatGPT to help us come up with names for the no-name dog pics we receive...just for fun.

I tried it with my dogs first.

This is Gentry:

ChatGPT said; "This adorable pup looks like a bundle of joy and personality!" (1000 percent true), and suggested a few different name choices, but my favorite ones were:

Shadow – Perfect for a black, curly-coated companion who's always by your side.

OR...

Ziggy – A quirky, happy name for a dog with lots of spunk and character.

Next up is Gentry's younger brother, Montgomery:

ChatGPT said he has "soulful eyes" and a "sweet, slightly scruffy, teddy bear energy", and then suggested these names:

Teddy – Because that face is pure plush toy perfection.

OR...

Moose – If this dog is a lovable big goof (or just acts like one!).

I have to say, ChatGPT really hit the nail on the head for my two dogs. Now let's see how it does with yours. LOL!
