Osteosarcoma is a word that most of us cannot even pronounce, let alone have to live through as a child. It all started with what mom and dad thought was just a swollen knee.

The day before her eighth birthday, Carson's family learned that their youngest daughter had cancer.  Carson's mother, Paula said:

The doctor looked at us and said it’s Osteosarcoma, I want you to go to St. Jude. That was the day our world stopped.

In the video below, Carson's family shares the amazing legacy their daughter left .

Carson's family continues the fight and continues to support the St. Jude mission, in big way.

No family should ever have to bury their own child.  Carson's family hopes that sharing Carson's story will encourage everyone to to get involved and fight this disease called cancer.
