Inside Ryan Trahan’s Wisconsin Kwik Trip Stop on St. Jude Fundraising Mission

A famous YouTuber named Ryan Trahan was on a mission to visit 50 states in 50 days to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and it included a stop at a place both Wisconsin and Illinois residents love.

Obviously, I can't speak for all Illinois families, but I can tell you these are a few things that my family members get excited about:

Who Is Ryan Trahan?

If you don't know who Ryan Trahan is, I bet your kids do, and that they have watched a LOT of his videos on YouTube. (My daughters do all the time.)

Ryan Trahan is a 26-year-old from Texas (with over 21 million followers on YouTube) who's famous for vlogging his unique travel adventures and challenges. He's most well-known for his "Penny Challenge" series, and most recently his "50 States in 50 Days" challenge to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ryan Trahan is the one YouTuber my kids love to watch that I actually enjoy watching with them, and after seeing what he is doing for St. Jude, I think I love him as much as my kids do!

The premise of the 50 States in 50 Days challenge is simple: stay overnight in all of the 50 states all in 50 days, find the coolest Airbnb in America during his travels, and complete the entire challenge with his wife Haley.

Trahan and his wife officially began the challenge on June 10, 2025, and in just over a month they have already raised over $6 million for St. Jude!

On day 37 Ryan Trahan and Haley visited Illinois and stayed at an old factory Airbnb in Chicago. Here's the video of their Illinois adventures:

Now, as an Illinois resident I should be focusing on the Trahan's Illinois visit, BUT, their Wisconsin stop had me more intrigued for one specific reason: they had never been to a Kwik Trip before!

I'm happy to see that Ryan and Haley now appreciate why Kwik Trip is beloved by so many people, and I hope to see them visit again soon!
