Family Fun Alert: The Pumpkin Patch Is Opening for the 2025 Season Soon

One of Northern Illinois' favorite fall attractions,  the Lindberg Pumpkin Patch in Caledonia, Illinois just dropped their opening date for the 2025 season, and we can smell those baked potatoes and donuts already!

One of the things I love most about living in Illinois during the fall is the massive amount of family fun that awaits just outside our doorsteps. From leaf peeping drives and hikes, to bonfires, apple orchards, and pumpkin patches, there is so much to do in this area when the calendar turns to September, (or mid-August in some cases).

In the last couple of weeks, many of our favorite local apple orchards and farms have announced opening days for the 2025 fall season, but there is one announcement I have impatiently been waiting for: opening day at the Lindberg Pumpkin Patch in Caledonia.

Let's get to the good news first:

If you’ve never been to The Pumpkin Patch, let me just say...you’re seriously missing out on one of the most charming and fun-filled family traditions Northern Illinois has to offer. Even now that my kids are older, my family still makes the trip to The Pumpkin Patch every fall, and we always leave smiling and happy.

Obviously, pumpkins of all sizes, shapes, and colors can be found at The Pumpkin Patch, but that's just the beginning of the seasonal fun that awaits. There's a corn maze, playground, kids' activities, bounce houses, food, shopping, farm animals, a live DJ on the weekends, and so much more!

Whether you're snapping the perfect fall photo, hunting for just the right pumpkin, or making lifelong family memories,  Lindberg Pumpkin Patch is the place you need to be! See you there this September!
