Byron Mom Organizing Military Car Package Drive for This Sunday

Veronica Sanders' daughter Chelsea is currently serving overseas with the 212th military police of the U.S. Army, so she knows just how hard life without their families is for all of our service men and women. That is why she is doing her best to provide them with some little feelings of home, but she needs our help this weekend.

Several businesses and groups are also helping with the drive including the Byron Fire Department, Byron Museum of History and Walmart, but more items are always needed and gladly welcomed.

To donate, simply stop by the American Legion Hall in Byron this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will bea raffle and lunch served for volunteers that help out.
