At a time when we are all struggling to get through this pandemic, this event couldn't come at a better moment.

On Saturday hundreds of motorcycles will be meeting at Cherry Valley Fire District 2 between 10:00-10:30 with their kickstands up at 10:45. The ride is part of the 7th annual Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation on their 7th Annual Ride to Fight Suicide. The foundation is in memory of Tomas (Tommy) Corral, III, who took his life by suicide on 8/18/14 as a result of depression at the age of 19.

The ride is $10  per rider goes directly to The Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation to help support individuals living with mental illness and provide suicide prevention education in our community. Attendees can get it on drawing baskets and 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold before, during, and after the ride. The prize winners will be announced at Kegel Harley-Davidson (near Cherry Vale Mall) at 1 p.m. The "finish line" at Kegel will have food trucks including The Cluck Stops Here, Tacos Don Chato, and J&C Old Fashioned Ice Cream, which are all donating a percentage of their sales back to the Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation.
The Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization, seeks to expand understanding, empathy, and provide supportive services, in our community, for mental illness and suicide. To achieve these goals, the Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation pledges to support local organizations, families of suicide and those affected by mental illness, however possible, while working to improve education, concerning these serious topics, in our schools and throughout our community.
