A Wisconsin high school just won a state title by basically playing keep away the entire game.

Milwaukee Juneau Beats Cambridge Without Taking Many Shots

Others might call it stalling, but it worked.

Milwaukee Juneau beat Cambridge in the Division 4 game by holding the ball, dribbling near half court, and rarely shooting.

Fans booed loudly throughout the Kohl Center.


Here’s the thing, though, Wisconsin doesn’t have a shot clock in high school basketball, so while it might not be your preferred way of basketball, it’s technically legal. Even if it’s not what some would describe as keep away or stalling, as in “the spirit of the game.”
