Wisconsin Man Goes To Jail For Throwing Puppies In Trash Can

As an avid animal lover and owner of 4 dogs, let me start by saying this makes me sick. According to Fox9.com. in Marshfield Wisconsin, a man was arrested  after allegedly throwing a plastic bag with 8 newborn puppies in a trash can. I don't understand how someone can do something like that. On February 28th, police were called due to what someone thought was kitten noises inside a trash can.

When they arrived on the scene they found a bag in the trash had 8 puppies in it. The puppies were taken to a shelter. The trash can was at the home of Robert Wild, the police located him and he was arrested shortly after he admitted the crime. It looks like Wild will be charged with mistreatment and abandonment of animals but no final decision has been made as of yet.

As for the puppies, they are doing fine and will be available for adoption in the coming future. I just don't understand the hatred that you would have in your heart to do something like this. It makes me cringe. The crimes are only a misdemeanors but I feel that they should be a felonies. I can't be the only one.
