A full moon will illuminate the sky this week.

I love looking at the Moon. I am totally that person who will stop whatever I'm doing to take a good look at the Moon. Not only is the Moon incredible to look at, it can also be very powerful if you tap into its energy. This month's full moon is a Strawberry Full Moon.

The full Moon of June 2021 happens the evening of June 24. But first things first, let's talk about the fun name this full Moon has. Why is the called a Strawberry Full Moon? Farmers Almanac details -

June’s full Moon—typically the last full Moon of spring or the first of summer—is traditionally called the Strawberry Moon. This name has been used by Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples, among others, to mark the ripening of “June-bearing” strawberries that are ready to be gathered. The Haida term Berries Ripen Moon reflects this as well. As flowers bloom and early fruit ripens, June is a time of great abundance for many.

So when can you see it?

June’s full Moon will reach peak illumination at 2:40 P.M. Eastern Time on June 24, but will not be visible until later that evening, when it drifts above the horizon.

Now we just have to hope it's not cloudy!

One thing I like to do to harness the Moon's powerful energy is make some Moon water. Grab a clear jar, fill it with purified water, and set it outside or next to a window the night of the full moon. Then you can use that water for whatever you'd like the rest of the month! You can use it to make tea, clean, add to a bath, however you'd like to incorporate it into your life.
