You thought you could only find your favorite cheddar fries in Illinois, well you thought wrong.

While I can't confirm that their food is as good as what's served in the Rockford area, there is another Beef-a-Roo restaurant outside of Illinois.

Ironically, it's in the same state as another Rockford. It's in Michigan.

And there are multiple locations.

So what gives?

It sounds like in the 1970s, there was a franchise option for Beef-a-Roo and someone bought three of them in Michigan.

The three locations are in Iron River, Marquette, and Negaunee, all in Michigan.

And their menu says they make those cheddar fries, but we think we need proof.
