Is Beef-A-Roo About To Bless Belvidere with Cheddar Fries?

Beef-A-Roo has been a part of exciting news in 2021, opening a new location outside of Rockford and announcing a new location in Rockford.

The cheddar fries experts opened a location in West Dundee, bringing their delicious menu to a whole new neighborhood. And, just when you weren't sure if there would be another Beef-A-Roo in Rockford's future, there was more breaking news. Word of a NEW location within the city quickly spread throughout the 8-1-5. Another 'Roo location is all but confirmed for the former Sturtevant's Mensware space at Rockford's Highcrest Centre.

Now, the question is whether or not the Rockford area needs another Beef-A-Roo location. There are currently eight restaurants in the surrounding area covering all parts of town so you might think, "No, we're good on Beef-A-Roos." However, there's an area that does not have a 'Roo and it's Belvidere.

BEEF-A-ROO IN BELVIDERE?

This week there has been conversation brewing in regards to a Beef-A-Roo location in Belvidere. This was shared in the 'What's Happening in Belvidere, IL?' on Facebook.

Beefaroo in Belvidere not decided yet, but a possibility. In Rockford Register Star today. A new one going up at 1680 N Alpine Rd in the old Sturtevant 's Menswear. Rockford has 3 stores, Machesney 1 and Roscoe 1. Come on guys, PLEASE COME TO BELVIDERE! I'm convinced that the area at or by Grandma's or Walmart would get a lot of customers since it is a big traffic area off of 20 and the expressway.

Coincidentally, a possible location mentioned in the above text is very accurate.

Very reliable sources have confirmed the former Grandma's Family Restaurant in Belvidere is a very probable location for Beef-A-Roo to take over, making it the 9th Stateline location. All though nothing has been 100% confirmed, much like the Highcrest Centre location, it sounds like it's all but a done deal. Be on the lookout for an official announcement soon.
