Walmart Yodel Boy Mason Ramsey Joins Florida Georgia Line at 2018 Stagecoach Festival [Watch]
Mason Ramsey is riding a crazy wave of attention, and that wave carried him to the stage at the 2018 Stagecoach Festival on Friday night (April 27). The pre-teen country sensation known as the "Walmart Yodel Boy" brought the house down after Florida Georgia Line brought him onstage during their headlining set at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.
The 11-year-old country singer shot to instant fame after clips of him yodeling at Walmart went viral. His combination of vocal chops, an affinity for classic Hank Williams and a winning personality have already taken him to Coachella, the Ellen DeGeneres Show and the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, and TMZ reports that his performance at Stagecoach resulted in him "upstaging Florida Georgia Line no less."

Ramsey dressed like Hank Williams for his performance Friday night, during which he showed a command of the stage one would not expect from an 11-year-old. He performed the Hank Sr. classic "Lovesick Blues," which is the song that went viral after he sang it at a Walmart in Paducah, Ky.
"I'm gonna do my song that I'm famous for," he says in the video above. "If my hat goes flyin' out in the audience, would you please catch it for me," he adds, drawing cheers from the audience.
Ramsey also performed "Famous," his official debut single, which he released on Friday. Watch that below.
Ramsey has lived with his grandparents since he was three weeks old, and he first discovered Williams' music while listening to his grandfather's albums in the garage. He's been performing in public for several years now, but he's become a phenomenon quite recently. Ramsey's Instagram followers have mushroomed to 1.7 million, while his Twitter following now stands at 275,000.
