Right about now I feel like a terrible parent because I have never taken my kids to see a drive-in movie. In fact, the first time my girls saw a movie in an actual theater happened back in March, and they are 7 and 5 years old. Shame on me, I know.

In my defense, growing up my family never did the drive-in movie thing often. I do remember going once and being completely fascinated that I was watching a movie in the car while spilling popcorn everywhere, and my parents didn't even get mad. (Perhaps that is why I don't remember any more drive-in movie theater excursions?)

Anywho, if going to drive-in movies is your family's jam, then you better mark your calendar now for the free drive-in movie nights happening at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park next weekend!
